You can use this method that Michael has shown here, once you have established one triangle and the hexagon angle the rest should follow quite easily.
If no one has a shot at this I'll give it a go when I have some time.

Another thing you might check is TopMod: http://www.topmod3d.org/

I believe it can open and save OBJ files, and it has some kinds of polygon subdivision tools in it which could possibly help to generate the variant you want. Possibly the forum over there may be a good place to ask about that particular variant.

Then you probably already know this, but just in case - if you want to get something that is in OBJ format back into MoI, you can use this wireframe converter:
http://moi3d.com/wiki/Resources#Obj23dmWireframe_converter then pick lines to make up a plane and fill it in with a Construct/Planar.

Instead of the "Spins" you get the "bumpy's!

The idea is to weld together thick stainless steelplates to form a strong polyhedral sphere able to tolerate the pressure of vacuum. This is where mathematics and alcoholism meet. Immersing the distillation bulb into geothermal water (about 70°C) will yield good tasting moonshine from low cost energy. Vacuum distilled moonshine actually tastes a little better than the one distilled at normal atmospheric pressure ;-)

P.s. the beautiful thing about vacuum distillation is that by using as a source of energy 60-70°C hot water flowing in a copper tube spiral inside the boiler the boiler itself can be made of plastic, e.g. the boatbuilders favorite .......GRP. By applying sufficient vacuum the boiling point could be kept around 30-40°C thus facilitating the transfer of heat/energy from the hot water to the fermented/boiling liquors.

Is there a tradition of using Geothermal for stills over there?

Yes actually it is. The hot water just comes out of the tap, costs very little and by assuring enough surface area for efficient heat transfer into the fermented mash you can achieve high wattage/energy tranfer per time unit thus distilli large amounts in a relatively short time. Besides the use of hot water greatly reduces the fire hazard compared to using natural gas/propane or electricity.

Brian .....do you want receive the moonshine filtered through activated charcoal or do you just prefer to consume the raw spirits without any rectification?
