Would it be possible to have the above as a parametric spline object to create cogs and engine parts? It strikes me that MOI would be a great app for modelling these things and I have just had an enquiry into if I could model some engine parts - obviously having something like this would be of great help!

Doh! thanks for the link - looks like there is loads of stuff to look at. I've just bought MOI so need to find some time to explore propperly but I love the imediate satisfaction you can get from using it.
