It's nearly midnight--I just had to have a quick try with arrays.

I think I can do it a bit more logically in some ways in the morning though.

OK, I did things a bit differently than that earlier tute, and my dimples layout is not ideal---

It seemed to work fine for me over here, this is the result:




But I noticed that you have a couple of curve objects in there as well - make sure not to select those as part of the cutting objects because they will also try to drill holes as well which you don't want there.

I selected those curves and deleted them first to get them out of the way before I did the boolean.
