Hi Eric, well it is a pretty big area of work, especially with the UI design so it is pretty hard to nail down a specific ETA for it, sorry!

I will be starting in to work on it just after this next beta is wrapped up.

The layer stuff will probably be kind of a work in progress for the next couple of months before it is all really wrapped up.

It is unfortunately a hard thing to guess at exactly how much time it will take.

I'll wait patiently ... you are doing a great job ... I think MoI has great promise for me.
I have used it productively a couple of times to add to my Rhino model and am really pleased with the ease of use.
I think maybe I'll use it for my custom windows, too.
