"ViaCAD comes with some 239MB of symbols which can be saved as IGES files and brought into MoI and then extruded to get results as in the attached image."
Could you tell me where is the location of the symbols ?

In the program files dir is a folder named Symbols. Use open or import ViaCAD.
Archi symbols are in the AEC folder.
C:\Program Files\Punch! Software\ViaCAD 3D V6\Symbols\AEC\Arch Symbols

Under ViaCAD top of screen---------Window>Concept Explorer>Symbols> Arch Symbols(A-to-I)
Also, ViaCAD is great at dimensioning your MoI efforts.
