Hi Phil,

> Duh....I was in the 3D view. I found them in the other views.

Yeah, that's the biggest downside to the new grips, they show up in the 2D views (Top/Front/Right) for all objects, but they will only show up in the 3D view if you have planar objects selected.

They're essentially a 2D focused thing.

I could put them as a 2D plane going through the middle of objects in the 3D view, or possibly at the bottom of the object's bounding box, but that seemed like it would be kind of weird.

I had also thought about putting them both at the top and bottom of the object's bounding box to get kind of 8 grips as a cube, but it seems like they will start to be getting in the way of stuff and a big goal for those was to make them have a minimal footprint and stay out of your way so that they could be turned on all the time without causing interference.

I still may be able to experiment with some different things for this, like maybe placing it at the bottom of all objects would not be all that bad... But also it is possible that the 3D view will really need a totally different style of manipulator than the 2D frame style.

Hi Johny, I've updated the download method and it should now support resume-able downloads.

Can you please try again and see if this works better for you now?

It sounds like something is wrong with your Kaspersky installation... Do you have any way to force and update of its virus library? Maybe the library has become messed up and is confusing the virus checker.

Other than that, I guess you may need to temporarily disable it while you download MoI.

I did just update the download method to use a slightly different method which also allows for download pause and resume type stuff, maybe that will help with your problem as well, so you might want to try again now.

Hi Jeongho, I'm glad that you figured out a way to download it.

I'm really not sure why Kaspersky did not like the link, you would probably need to contact their tech support to find out about that.

What happens if you use Kaspersky to scan the beta setup.exe file now after you have downloaded it? Does it still complain about it?

I've got Kaspersky on my other box but I didn't download the beta on that box, I can try it to see if I get the same result, can I download the beta again since I've already downloaded it ?

Downloaded MoI 2 beta with Kaspersky on: no issues.
Scanned downloaded file manually: no issues.

Cheers

Hi, michael.

I don't know why my kaspersky detected a 'trojan-gamethief........'

but when I did scan a file after download, there are no problem.

and now I retried with kaspersky enable, there are no problem. :)

I'm using kaspersky internet security 2009.(It's not a kaspersky antivirus, but antivirus + firewall version)

:)
