Hi Petr, I think that may be possible as well. Basically I'll be able to do whatever the harmonyware translators provide ( http://www.harmonyware.com). Due to limited initial funds, for v1 I only got the IGES translator. Once things are rolling it should not be difficult for to add the additional translators for v2.
I think that there is both read and write functionality in there.

Yeah, probably - the "official" toolkit for either of those is pretty expensive I think, and it is a pretty huge job to write custom code to read stuff. Custom code to implement reading is like 10 times more difficult to do than custom code for exporting.
