I've no scripts installed yet, but would you be a little more specific on how best to use the boolean tool here for solids?

I've been using booleans an awful lot since buying MoI3d a few days ago.

Fantastic software MoI3d is, I'm still learning! Better than... cough... Rhino IMHO (even though Michael 'invented' that too!)

Boolean DIff ?
Right Click for Done
Click Volume not wanted
Press Key Delete (or red X) for kill line + volume not wanted in the same time!

For a cylinder take a diameter! ;)
For a complex object take a plane (or an extruded line/curve )

A cool function can be the Native ExplodeMove after a multiple Boolean (Merge here) ! ;)

Voronoi for the perpendicular faces!

Boolean Merge the 2 perpendicular planar curves
then ExplodeMove as shortCut or Press Tab and write ExplodeMove

Of course ExplodeMove will work also with some Boolean Diff! ;)
