Hehe, that Rocket guy seemed a bit bipolar or something. He was super into MoI, created tons of videos, and then suddenly got pissed and started insulting users who were too "hobbyist" for his taste. As retaliation, he removed all his tutorials and videos. Then he saw an opportunity to sell them for a little while. Eventually, he gave up on 3D, only to come back a few months later with a reskinned version of Nvil, trying to promote it here because it has a "bridge" that was actually based on Max Smirnov scripts. Looks like that project is gone now too.
Software comes and goes—even expensive commercial ones can just vanish (like Modo or Clarisse). That’s one reason to stick with Blender. I have to admit, Nvil has been around for quite a while too. While poly modeling is fairly standard across tools, the learning curve can still be steep. You still find artists using XSI, even though it’s been dead for a decade, because switching to something else is tough once you've mastered it.
