I learned MOI3D by just playing around with the app. It is one of the most intuitive 3D programs I have ever used. Only problem I am having with it is modeling cars. But for architecture, spaceships, cranes, castles, towers, etc - it is a breath of fresh air.

My former boss was thinking about 3D printing and asked
me to look for a 3D modeler for it, so I found MOI 3D.

In the end, 3D printing was canceled, but I liked MOI 3D
so much that I bought a copy for myself.

At that time I already had some experience with various other
3D programs. I learned MOI 3D simply by trying it out and i did
a few small projects to understand the tools and features.
This Forum was of course also a great help, so thanks for that.

Hi Robert. If you learn by watching I recommend Tom Meeks Courseware which is free on YouTube ( linked below ). There were many concepts that I learned by watching his videos which are nicely organized and have good examples.

Tom Meeks is an awesome instructor, I've watched his videos on MOI3D and several years ago CB Modol Pro.

Arrimus 3D on youtube is an awesome instructor and I did learn some tricks using MOI3D from him. He also covers Blender, 3DS Max and lately Plasticity.
