I am currently working in an office where the owners are designing and building new pin ball game machines using MOI3D and a massive CNC router.

While I don't know the specifics, I do know that the designer uses MOI3D STYLES to export to Adobe Illustrator files in layers as part of the workflow. Each layer defines not only the shape; but, the tools and depth of the cutter. I will be in the office on Friday and will see what I can learn about his workflow.

Great tip!

I would say the make2d script will also work if there is an option to generate the topview only (depends how it is drawn).
after this to be imported in Vectric apps to generate the toolpaths.
