Yes that's how dimensions in drafting work, they measure distance on a projected plane.

In this case use the Dimensions by Max Smirnov

(but it's one by one ! ;)
Or the native Dimensions "Aligned"! (one by one too) Not shown here!

Hi sven

If you work with the 4 views, the dimensioning is very easy and fast.
You can even add keyboard shortcuts to call the DIM functions
