Hi Tom,

re:
"P.S. What does "Out of attachment space" mean?"

File attachments on messages in the discussion forum is limited to 50MB per user, to avoid having the web server's storage getting completely filled.

If you go to Options > Attachments you can look for some older attachments that you could delete to free up some space or you could upload the file you want to share to a file sharing service like dropbox / onedrive / we transfer / etc... and share the link here instead of attaching the whole file here in the forum.

Thanks, Michael.

Over the years, I guess I have added a LOT of attachments! :)

I added a new session to the course, and believe that finding Meshrender will help in the classrooms as at-risk students will be VERY drawn to rendering their creations because they will relate it to video game assets. etc.

And, it provides a way to use their creations without tying up a 3D printer. What really makes the rendering from MOI3D work is the output of multiple parts with names.

Michael, Frenchy and other MOI3D users that are always so helpful...

This has to be one of the most mutually beneficial communities on the web.

One of the reasons for that, I think, is that there are so many people that could be described as having a Renaissance spirit. The breadth of interests, knowledge and skills we find as we read through posts is astounding.

One of the coolest things about life is being around people that stretch us and take us in whole new directions.

I first had this experience when I went to work for Astrocade in the 1980s and met the team at Nutting associates. Dave Nutting and Bon Ogden headed a team of designers for Bally in both video games and pinball machines. Dave had earlier developed the design for the Jeep Grand Wagoneer and Enstrom Helicopter. If you are able to find his books "Language of Nature: Quantum World Revealed (2005)" or "Secrets of a Creative Mind (2012)", I recommend reading them. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Nutting.

That great experience was followed by working with an equally awe inspiring team at Time-Life Software, a part of Time-Life books. Time-Life books, at least at that time, were a team effort. Some writers specialized in starting a book and others picked up various aspects of writing as the book progressed to final form. The result was that each team member pursued a very wide range of subjects covering every conceivable topic. They seemed to know everything about everything and conversations were always fascinating.

This is what I see when I come up here. And, I really appreciate it and thank all of you for it.

Tom

Actually, that is a different Dave Nutting. I don't know if they are related.

I think I would like to have conversation with this one as well. I remember having some fascinating discussions with Francis Collins when his book " The Language of God: A Scientist Presents Evidence for Belief" came out. (I live near and have worked for NIH in the past) I have a theological degree and have taught science in the past, so I am always interested when these two subjects intersect. One of my hobbies, much like bird sighting, is protozoology. I've been doing it since high school and a microscope is always on my desk. LOL!

David Judd Nutting's book "Language of Nature: Quantum World Revealed (2005)" has some interesting theological discussions regarding the driving force of creativity in the quantum world.

Your post gave me the idea that I can reate protozoan models in MOI3D now that I can render them with a clear body!

Wow! I didn't even know that video existed! VERY Cool!

That definitely is the one.

His son-in-law, Bob Ogdon is also high on my respect list!

Thank you so much for finding that.

I have both books; but, my favorite... and the one I have given away most often to creative friends... is "Language of Nature: Quantum World Revealed (2005)".

If you can find it, it is well worth the investment.

Thanks again. You made my day!
