Yes, the switch between fillet libraries will be staying for quite a while.

There are some cases where Solids++ can generate a fillet where ACIS can't, mainly on things where the fillet is trying to go around a bend that is smaller than the fillet radius. Solids++ can slice out that self intersecting fillet area if it's not too complicated, but ACIS won't do those cases.

But your case here looks more like a bug in MoI's conversion to and from ACIS geometry, that is an area that I'm still actively working on. I'll add your file to my list to test with.

With the attached version I replaced 2 of the planes and it's working ok on this one.

I don't have the source code for the libraries so I need to ask the ACIS developers (a company called Spatial) to make modifications, I am not able to do it myself.

Sorry no there isn't anything set up to modify that back to the old behavior. But you can use right click on the new one which will do an assign without showing the menu. Also Ctrl+Left click is a shortcut for rename.

In this system you can't increase the radius up the first intersection of fillets between them! Here it will be 1!

On my version (latest beta) it doesn't show the LIBRARY option.
What do I need to do to see it?

Also: I don't see any thumbnails in explorer (win 10)

What do you have selected when you run the fillet command? If you have curves selected then you won't see it, if you have edges selected then you should see it.

Are you testing with a default install or are you applying customized UI? Are you possibly overwriting the regular fillet command with an older version?

Can you show a screenshot of an explorer window?

What files are you copying exactly? Are you overwriting Fillet.htm or Fillet.js inside the commands install folder?

For the thumbnails, it's normal for an Explorer window to not show thumbnails when it's in "Details" view mode.

You need to switch to a view mode that will display thumbnails, like View > "Large icons" mode.

Hmm, that's weird, I just resaved one of the tests and it shows the .jpg for it.
But, I think that maybe the pic that the custom UI saves, unless that is what the new version is supposed to do?

The new version does not save any additional .jpg file, it saves an image that is stored inside the .3dm file and File Explorer windows will display that embedded image when viewing in a thumbnail displaying mode.

Only new .3dm files that were generated with this new beta will have the thumbnails in them.

Ok, but why are you copying those files? You'll need to leave these files alone and keep the Fillet.js and Fillet.htm files that are in the regular install.

If you overwrite Fillet.js and Fillet.htm with old versions from previous betas that's when you will have problems.
