Hi Phiro, sorry no there isn't currently a surface simplify method in MoI.

re: 335 000 faces - that's really way too dense. The SubD converter is intended to be used to convert sub-d control cages which should usually be fairly sparse.

If you're converting dense scan data you'll probably need a reverse engineering tool rather than the sub-d converter.

Why not use the Decimation Master of ZBrush ?
it has some parameters inside for resolve maximum of problems or whishing results!
Of course that is not free...if you have not ZBrush maybe you must find someone who have this prog! ;)

Maybe Blender has also this sort of thing...
