The opacity was the real problem, now solved. I use a Mac and used an 'unconventional way' to change the png colors. Putting the files in the Theme folder is a much more elegant way to change file colors.

Changing the EditFrameOpacity to 120 worked well for me.

IMHO the highlighted grips do not need any change as they seem to work fine with the different themes.

I have attached the original FrameOrigin.png and GripFrameCorner.png below along with the GripRotation.png for others to edit the colors. The result of my dark theme to show the color change effect with my dark theme...........
