Hi Matadem, for shelling MoI will not be able to generate a shell like that because of the small features here:



You can shell it in MoI but only at a smaller thickness where those small features are not totally consumed by the shell:



I would recommend exporting your model to a CAD system that has a more sophisticated shelling mechanism like OnShape or Fusion360 and do the shelling there and then import it back into MoI.

If you want to do the shelling only inside of MoI you would probably need to have this inset strip removed and just have one large surface across. You should then be able to shell that object, and then cut out the strip after the shelling.

Thanks ...trying to do as much as possible in Moi since its pretty quick...

I managed to finished it and did my first render in blender as well. ready to print!
