Hi k526, I'm glad you are liking MoI! :)
I think it should work fine to go for specs recommended for Blender performance, MoI will make use of the same kind of stuff generally.
MoI does use both CPU and GPU, for heavier projects it would be a good idea to have NVidia or AMD graphics instead of Intel graphics.

32gb is quite a bit, it could be possible to make a project that would need more but it would be very complex.
If you had to pick one single thing to prioritize I guess it would be GPU.
One thing that can be a little tricky about laptop form factor is that if is loaded up with all max specs it can get thermally throttled if it can't keep all that high end stuff cool while it is under load.
