Ah! I noticed last night that the soundboard (the top) did not have the same curvature above and below. I couldn't use "Offset>Shell". Well, it's solved, same thing for the background. In addition, all parts (80) must be solids (as in reality). I will have to make these pieces in several files and put everything together at the end.

MoI3D is really an awesome design tool.

Well, I resumed the creation at the beginning, or almost. I was not satisfied...
As I'm not a fan of photorealistic renderings, I extracted the edges of the three main solids (the soundboard, the back and the side) to have curves and rework the images below without leaving MoI3D . There are certainly things to dig into with this process.

Well, I think the soundboard, back and sides are definitely finished.
There remained the outlines to be made in a rounded shape, but with an almost flat shape on their lower part and sorts of connecting beaks in the pointed parts. All of this had to be joined with the rest to get a solid.

Hello,
I have just resumed the creation of my violin, interrupted for some time.
I'm a bit in difficulty to achieve the volute and neck part which is almost an organic modeling!

So I'm appealing to you for suggestions to make this part of the violin with MoI3D. I attach several images to illustrate my point.

I did a lot of research and found a lot of technical documentation, as well as tutorials with Blender and Modo.

Cristobal Vital has made available a series of very detailed tutorials with Modo where we see that the realization of the Volute part and the handle is quite complex.
