while yours is the preferred and more elegant method I have run into situations where in some cases causes more problems that then need fixing. Patching locally keeps problems local.

but i dont understand why deleting 26 edges erase the hole on the surfaces ?

This is untrimming a trimmed surface.

So things like that hole are represented by a trim boundary that has a type of label that says "hide inside"... the actual surface doesn't really leave.

MoI has a mechanism for untrimmimg a trimmed surface. That is done by selecting all the trim boundaries and deleting them to reveal the underlying surface.

In some cases you may want to copy and save the trim boundaries before untrimming. So if you need to retrim a particular part, you already have the boundary for the surface.

Sometimes untrimming a surface can reveal parts of the underlying surface you wanted to remain trimmed.

Copying the trim boundaries first and keeping those, will allow you to retrim parts easily.

I think Michael has spoken about upgrading the untrimming command to allow a user interface or just more power to untrim only specified areas, without the need to untrim an entire, separated surface.

Sure! Here is a little doodling with trim boundries and untrimming and retrimming them. Note showing points reveals the underlying surface still there. The "trims" are just "hide this part and hide this part" of a NURBS surface.
