Hi Anthony, re: wireframe - that's primarily the default view in Rhino be cause Rhino was originally designed to run on a Pentium 90 and it just wasn't possible to work in shaded view all the time.

MoI doesn't really have a wireframe view like that, but you can see wires by turning on hidden line display and also you can hide faces as well.

Just in general MoI is not really designed as a "drop in" replacement for Rhino, it is focused on different things than Rhino.
