I use PLA 90% of the time. It does absorb water, so use it for indoor projects only. No issues with electronics indoors. After trying several brands, I settled on www.proto-pasta.com
For outdoor projects, use PETG filament. PETG is used to make water bottles.
I had some issues with the corners of the lid warping during the print. I now model a 4 layer high, 2" diameter disk at each corner to help hold the object to the bed. Makes the model look like it has Mickey Mouse ears. The ears get cut off after the print is finished and cooled down.

WOOW Ed, it looks fantastic, pretty advanced project. Really like it, for the moment I stick around raspberry pi and similar devices, I wish one day I will be able to go more wild an play with serious circuits like you do!
