In spite of my not being able to understand more than "Guten tag!" in German, your initial lesson was still very clear to me for a number of reasons.

First, I love the fact that you not only began with a deep dive into the interface and controls; but, did so in the context of creating actual articles.

Secondly, even having used and taught MOI3D for many years, you introduced several completely new features of MOI3D that I had completely overlooked. (I had never even noticed the Up Arrows leading to selections on the "Snap" toggles. And, your TAN line instruction was enlightening.)

Count on me going through every one of your valuable and instructive lessons and enjoy every bit of it.

Thank you so much for your contribution!

Tom

Hi Tom

Thank you very much for this post.
I appreciate this feedback.

I am especially happy when professionals like you can watch my videos and sometimes learn something new.

Switzerland is not only very close to Germany, the language is also related. However, the Germans understand us Swiss less well than we understand the Germans;-)

When you worked for Astrocade in Germany, I was 12 years old and was a big fan of these games. Did you work as a developer?

Best regards from Switzerland Stefan

I didn't work as a developer then. I was the "Chief Galaxian Killer" for the company, which meant I was the game demonstrator in the marketing department and handled the game testing.

That job was a dream because the control systems and developers for our game system were so wonderful. I would often demonstrate a game on three different systems (Atari, Mattel and Bally Professional Arcade) to show how responsive our system was.

Back then i was pretty good at wiping out invading hordes of aliens; but, not nearly as good as some of our users.

My travels to Germany are some of my best memories.
