Hi,

Is there a tripod to use to constrain movements to one axis?
Something similar to rhino gumball?

Thanks a lot

If you disable Grid Snap, Enable Snap Direct, Snap Object
you will obtain a sort of constrain movement!

Thanks Pilou... I've to play with it this evening.
Does it work the same with spline control points?

Thanks a lot

Hi Marco, yes make sure you have "Striaght snap" enabled on the bottom toolbar to get movement along one axis.

Then if you move you mouse close to the axis it will snap on to it. You can also hold down Shift to make it engage as well.

Hi Michael, Pilou,

thanks for yor reply.
Yes, I see the behavior of the constrainted moves... It's not bad but I think that a gizmo (or a tripod) might be more useful.
When I can play with it I'll let you know if I'm wrong :-)

Thanks
