Full Version: MOI 4.0 | Expiration

From: Berube

Hello Michael,

Hope all is well.

I noticed MOI 3.0 will not launch on a newer OSX such as Catalina 10.15.2,
so I decided to embrace change and migrate to MOI 4.0. Does the build still have an expiration date?

Also, I use to have a great script for an object library widget that doesn't seem to work in MOI 4.0.
Any suggestions on how I could get this one resolved?

All the best,

Thanks!

Hi Berube, MoI v4 is still not quite finished up yet. The available v4 release is a beta release so yes that means it has an expiration date. The current one expires on July 12, 2020.

Can you post the script so I can take a look?

A few scripts need some minor tweaks to run on v4, v3 ignored some kinds of syntax errors.

Hello Micheal,

Thank you for your reply.

As I researched to find the exact name of the script, I landed on this thread here that fixed my issue.

I was referring to the Custom UI script.

So once again, thanks for your help. You led me down the right path from just asking.

Thanks!

Hi Berube that's great I'm glad you got it worked out! Yes, the CustomUI script has a new version out to use with v4.
