Hello,
would you please be so kind taking a look onto my object. Still work on the details.
Here I cant fill a whole so that is competely smooth.
Tried many things, but I failed.
How do I do that better, please?
Cheers, Mala

Hi Lara, so for the upper piece you can select these 2 edges and use Construct > Blend:

For the remaining hole, unfortunately filling in that kind of smooth hole filling is difficult to do in MoI, you will probably need to use some tools that are in Rhino to help with that. I'd probably give the Patch command in Rhino a try for that, maybe after cutting away a little more surrounding area.

After doing the Blend like Michael said, I tested to take th three edges and an n-sided finished the job.
Is it ok or I made a error ?

I tested to do a shell next to verify the surface and I had a solid. So it's seems to be good. No ?

Hi Phiro, that does work to fill the hole but it doesn't make a very pleasing shape. You can see some evidence of the triangular outline in the shaping if you inspect it closely.

I came to the same conclusion as Michael without cutting the Geo you will end up with a lumpy triangle at the hole.
One solution is to extend the parallel lines and cut that section and rebuild.

I have done a video of the process here: https://youtu.be/8V6pNRy0Plw
Added a new version with narration: https://youtu.be/kX_ozWvGbB4

Also attached the *fixed* file for you to compare. They won't be exactly the same but they are visually close and you won't have a triangle artefact.

I don't know if i had solved it! But sufficient for me for funny rendering! :)

- Blend the bottom longitudinal arcs for have an arc for close the form
- Nside
- Kill all little parts except the "Ray Manta" and big vertical part
- Copy the longitudinal arcs who are on the same vertical plan
- Blend them
- Extrude both side (the "box" was a try)
- Trim the "Ray Manta"
- Blend the 2 Lateral Arcs
et voilĂ  :)

Hi Mark,
yes, I saw it. Found it very smart.
What I noticed now is your info to blend. Pretty nice. Thank you very much...!

Best, Mala
