Hello all, I'm quite new to MOI and thus any tutorials that'll help me get from A to B are good to have. I clicked on Paul's link and downloaded the tutorial as I'm quite happy to risk it for $15. I just flicked through some of the videos and I'm happy I bought it. The creator of the videos (Bojan) is easy to understand, and the pace is easy to follow. His portfolio page shows the final images, and they look awesome. I'm a ZBrush & KeyShot user, and I can see how this will be of great benefit to me.
Like Paul, I'd like to point out I'm in no way affiliated with Bojan and his Gumroad course, but I do like to support people how put time and effort into creating content that keeps my/our learning curve down.
I wound up purchasing this training and I must say, it is indeed well worth the cost! I've gone through the basics and up to Part 2 (Knife demo part 1). The material is presented very well and clear, it has been helpful. Great job and I do recommend it to others that are interested!
Yeah I agree this is a good tutorial. When I first into Moi I did confused for the interface and everything ,and I found this tutorial it is pretty clear and helped me a lot.
After follwing this tutorial, I am now using Moi very offen in my modelling jobs.
Hey Paul, I found your post from 2 years ago mentioning Bojan's Moi3D tutorials which I am now watching to lean the basics. Might you have any other tutorial recommendations for newbies since you are two years more experienced?
If you search for MOI3D on gumroad you can even find some freebies and there are many freebies on youtube.
Some people sell quite expensive tutorials and I can't say they aren't value for money because they are very detailed and comprehensive, but I suggest you don't buy them!
Why not buy expensive, detailed tutorials? Well I think once you get the hang of MOI3D, you will be in a position to build complex stuff from the principles learned.
