Full Version: Need some tips.

I was wondering if someone can help with modelling this gun:



I managed to make this shape (it's not exact I changed the back due to an error I kept running into...):



But it took me a lot longer than I would like to admit, I kept getting problems and I tried a lot of different ways to just get this base shape so I feel like I don't really know what I'm doing. Does anyone have any tips on this? I started with lofting the handle and then using sweep for the bottom half of the gun but this was a huge pain to make. I spent probably an hour or so just trying to get the finger guard on it using blend but it keeps erroring out.

Basically I need a hero lol

I watched that video! But my main trouble is transitioning the grip into the body, the grip in Chip's doesn't have that same transition so that's where I struggled :/

I'll take a look at Rhino videos, I didn't think of that.
