Hi i've ran Moi3D Demo for about 3 weeks and i'm about to buy a perpetual licence. However, I have a little technical problem that still makes me hesitate. Indeed, I'm working on a perfectly stable hackintosh with 2 nvidia 1080 graphics cards and sometimes, while I'm working on this software, my 2 screens suddenly turn black and I lose all control on my computer. This is not a crash as such, really the display of the computer is not done properly anymore and i have to force my computer to re-boot.
So, is it a known problem on Moi3D, on Mac OS, does it have anything to do with my graphics cards (all drivers are up to date under mac os 10.12.6)? Can it have anything to do with using XQuartz that wasn't installed by default on my computer (has it changed with the beta version?)?
Thanks in advance for your return?
Nico

Hi Nico, no I'm not familiar with that problem, this is the first I've heard of it.
Something like that affecting the entire OS pretty much indicates some problem with the video driver though.
One thing you might try to see if it helps is to install the latest XQuartz from here:
https://www.xquartz.org/ and then change the setting in MoI for it to use the system installed XQuartz rather than the bundled one as described here:

MoI v4 may behave better on your system, for v4 I've done a significant rewrite to make a native compiled build for the Mac, it no longer uses Wineskin or XQuartz at all. I'm expecting to release v4 by the end of this year, the beta version is available to existing customers here:

Hi Michael and thanks for your quick answer. I have changed the settings and will give a try. I'll give feedbacks in a few days. Thanks a lot.
