Hi all,
i just want to show you my latest MoI doodle. This project was a lot of fun,
due to MoI's ease of use. Hope you like!

Hi Brian,
thank you very much, much appreciated!
(My thanks go also to Toshiaki-san, for his
amazing Math Modeler, because if i had not
his software, i would never came up with this
idea...)

Hello Stefan!
I really like the third render (the ambient occlusion version) and the 2D flat version!
Really nice! You know I'm a big fan of "Moi for 2D workflows" so...you're preaching to the choir :)
From: amur (STEFAN)
Thank you Marco! MoI is super cool for creating 2D designs.
Colleagues at work were surprised that i do 2D Vector stuff
in MoI instead of Adobe Illustrator or Coral Draw... :-)

@You "Colleagues at work were surprised that i do 2D Vector stuff in MoI instead of Adobe Illustrator or Coral Draw... :-)"
For certain kinds of things (many kinds we must say) Moi is much more powerful than any other legacy vector drawing App.
P.S. I don't know if you have an iPad Pro but if so, talking about professional workflow for 2D vector graphic, you should really take a deep look at the amazing Affinity Designer!!!
(Anyway also for Pc/Mac obviously)
Certainly still young and not completely bug free (it was launched three days ago) but I will not deny that I really love that iOS App and when I see what real professional can create with it I just become speechless :)

MoI is also brilliant for me in spotting design flaws from other peoples
vector illustrations and i like also the precision and ease of use it offers,
compared to 2D drawing apps. The only thing i miss is doing text on a
path like Illustrator etc. can do, but i understand that this is probably not
the focus of MoI.
Regarding Affinity Designer, i have also a copy since it came out for the
Mac, but seldom use it, i must admit.

Did you try the flow command for the text to path functio ?
From: amur (STEFAN)
No, but thanks, good idea to try out.

I guess you could also try the Sweep Command selecting two curves as guides
From: amur (STEFAN)
No, that does not work for me.
But for now i stick, for this operation, with Adobe Illustrator.
Maybe i could also try something out with using bounding boxes
for each letter and then align the letters manually. More work,
but this should also work.

Stefan

Hello Stefan.
I have successfully tried some use-case for Text-On-Curve and also Text-On-Surface using the Flow command.
Tomorrow I'll show you my experiments.
Maybe you could find them interesting also for what you have to do.
Stay tuned :)

Hi Marco,
good to hear, can't wait to see your results. :-)

Hi Marco,
thank you very much! Very good examples, of what flow can do
with text!
