Hi Michael and all,

i am a "bit" concerned, as EU citizen, when reading things like this:

https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-44546620

and have therefore signed this petition:

https://saveyourinternet.eu/

I'm curious what are your thoughts.

Best regards
Stefan

I hope that sometime a supervirus will destroy the whole internet and I will read a book off my shelf with a bottle of beer of course. And the next day I read my daily newspaper and see politicians cutting faces and plunging the Internet giants' stock prices into the bottomless pit.

"I have a dream" - damned, there is a intellectual property to this sentence!!!

Hello,

The same impact GDPR will have on the forum and gallery, zero. The EU is doing a great job making themselves the lepers of the global economy. It's simple math really, if a company does enough business in the EU raise prices to EU members only by at least 3X to cover the additional costs incurred by the silly regulations and ring fence them off from the rest of the clients. If not, just refuse to do business with the EU, they are becoming an afterthought in the world economic market anyway.

At the end King Tupou VI will have a solution for us!

"Oh my island in the sun" - damned - copyright!

Hi all,

in case you don't believe this would be possible to do such things
like "link tax"... a MODO Forum user just gave me this link:

https://qz.com/africa/1319826/how-ugandas-social-media-tax-works-with-whatsapp-facebook-twitter-blocked/

If Uganda can do this, im pretty sure the EU can do what they
want to do, once the EU law has passed, easily... :-(

And once the EU implemented this, who will follow next???

Stefan
