How can I move a object that I made 360 degrees (or less) in any direction WITHOUT moving the grid?

Hi Tim, can you maybe post a 3DM file or a sketch of what you're describing? I'm not sure that I understand.
You can however relocate the grid to some other spot by using View > CPlane, is that what you need?
