I'm sure someone will find a use for this:
https://spotify.github.io/coordinator/
It's an open-source project by Spotify that takes an SVG file and subsequently lets you finetune the dot placement. You can save the result as (X,Y) coordinates (both CSV as well as JSON), or as a PNG image. I haven't tested this, but the ImportPointFile from
http://moi3d.com/forum/index.php?webtag=MOI&msg=5124.2 should be able to import the generated CSV data into MOI.

Hi all,
just had a little bit time to test this tool with Max's script.
The points come in upside down, but no problem.
Test image, a butterfly tribal tattoo .svg from vectorportal.com.

Hi Marco,
thanks.
I think with the right subject and Max's script a lot of things are possible,
for people making nice looking images.

Thanks danperk,
i see you have also lot's of fun! :-)
Your text examples looks nice! I'm currently also learning more
about classic typography and maybe i find a good combination with
typography and Max's script too, were the Voronoi structure blends
nicely with classical (3D) typefaces.

Stefan
