This is most interesting,

that ArtForm uses lesser points on curve than MoI (and some of them are not on the same position)
but the back imported shape is the same.

I tested it again with drawing points in MoI then drawing a curve on them through points
and imported into ArForm to see the difference and finally back to MoI.

Hi Stefan!

I will try it in your way, here is the wanted function in Qcad (DXF):
So export the curve to DXF, edit it in Qcad and import it again, if you like.
But I think they drew the points earlier in Moi.

Hi Franz,

i also played today with HeeksCAD and it has the function to automatically
create a spline curve from points! :-) But i could not figure out yet how to edit
splines in there and also how to export as step or iges, because no files were written.

Later then i found PolyCAD which also looks very interesting but i have to wait for
the serial.

Hi Stefan!

Thanks for the tip with ArtForm (3.5).
In my version I cannot import *.3dm, only IGES.
Connot finde in "Curve Edit" the way to /Modify/Modify Point on Curve.
And I had to learn more about working with ArtForm, so I cannot edit points from the curve now.

Sorry, I will try later.

Hi Franz,

no problem. In order to do that you have to be in the NURBS Modeler module.

Hi Stefan!

Thank`s for your help.
I see, it ist really possible with these "sidestep" to ArtForm, to change the curve form with curve points and reimport to moi very quick!

Franz :)!
