Thanks for the info Stefan!
Good to know.

Hi Marco and all,
just discovered a new Github tool, which allows one to convert MoI .fbx export! :-)
https://github.com/facebookincubator/FBX2glTF/releases
Unfortunately it seems MoI does not write assigned style colors as mesh colors,
so that the model in Facebook is grey only.
P.S. Michael i also get these warnings, but the conversion and upload works fine:
$ FBX2glTF -b -i t.fbx -o test
Warning: node /RootNode/obj1 uses unsupported transform inheritance type 'eInheritRrSs'.
(Further warnings of this type squelched.)
Wrote 261381 bytes of binary glTF to test.glb.
Regards
Stefan

Is this when using MoI v3 or v4 for generating the fbx ?
V3 uses a pretty old version of the fbx library and V4 uses a recent one.
In v4 you can also edit moi.ini and change which version of the format will be used:

I'll also see about having an option in V4 for writing vertex colors. Oh yeah currently no colors at all are written to fbx, I'll also see if I can get materials going for that.

Hi Stefan!
Thank you very much for this news.
ASAP I will take a look to it just to see how could I use this new tool.
Thanks.

I am currently still using MoI v3.

That would be nice, if you could add that in the future!
Best regards

FYI, it seems that Facebook has currently a file size limit of 3MB... so
you have to export as low poly model, since the compression parameter
is not yet accepted there... Exporting as NGons/Quads works fine!
For larger 3D models in Facebook i used in the past Sketchfab.
