@Pilou It is not so difficult if you open up a second window in your Browser and use Google Translator... :-)

@chrisd I think they did that because their Enterprise version of ArtForm was one version lower
and they simply unified the numbering scheme for both versions.

@Franz Thank you, maybe you can use it.

Stefan

Hi Pilou,

click on the translated link from Chris... and read carefully the English translation
from the first post. There you will find at the bottom of this post a link to register
and a link to login for the download.

P.S. In case registering does not work with the translated page, due to CAPTCHA's etc.
use in the first Browser window the original Chinese page. As CAPTCHA there come up
two Chinese characters, which you see and which you have to click in the right order.

Once you have access to the forum (the original Chinese page) and downloaded the
software look at the pop-up menu for a line with two input fields, one for your
Username and one for your password. Once the software accepted your input the
software should start then in English.

Hope this helps.

Stefan

Unfortunately, the Chinese ways are also complicated for me...

Here I am, but cannot start...
Do I need the software JDSoft SurfMill 7.0 for registration?

Hi Franz, excellent! :-) Now you only need to input your Username in the first (white) field and your Forum Password in the second (white) field. After that click the button below the fields and then the software should start in English. SurfMill is not required for registration, it's an additional Software for creating Router Paths for CNC Machines.

P.S. should the Software not start in English i post a screen shot were you must look for the menu switch.

Now I'm here, but I have to learn how to use the program.
Imported the Moi drawing in IGES format to be processed in ArtForm 3.5. However, not yet the success as Stefan in the step "merge".
Let's see now. I need some more time.

Hi Pilou,

it should be the little blue button below the Captcha code. The other two buttons, the big blue and big green are for other network media registration, if i remember correctly. Like QQ (large blue button) a chinese service, similar when you register at sites via a Facebook account.

@Franz currently i can't help because i'm busy at work, but it looks like you have not merged the corners. I did it that way that i merged the corners with their sides first and then merged the other sides with the top surfaces and at the end merged those large stripes as one surface.

Hi Franz,
this technic may give you what you want.
I joined your curves and ran the rebuild command on them.
Networked the top face. Extruded the base shape with no caps.
Blended the top to the bottom with a 1.2 bulge.
Blend corner blend to blend not base.
Joined all and ran planar to cap bottom.
Hope this helps.
Barry
