Wow, impressive work! Did you trim all the lines from the second image from the solid, and then use the Shell command to extrude it from the solid?

Marvellous model and render as well.

Very nice lighting, using of HDR image for illumination is always very natural.

Hello Zarkow.

Just a question ?

I assume that 3D modelling and GFX in general is your main job, what you do to everyday to live,
but...how did you get to be so good ?
I suppose with tons and tons of hours of working and striving , but did you follow also some specific courses, some specific study ?

Thanks :)

Hello Marco (mkdm),

I had no specific study, I think its time, I make 3d since 1998 as a hobby (Cinema4D, 3dsmax) while school and army, then an education in media design 2003, with a little bit 3d animations with my small knowlage for regional cinema commercials. I think professional 3D artist since 2006, there I had a chance 2 years to make animations and illustrations for Prosche and BMW, and I lerned to convert CAD to 3Dsmax and render with mentalray. 2006 it was not so easy to convert many CAD parts clean in short times and rendering with mentalray an 3Dsmax had taken a long time. Since 2008 I am in love with MoI, it is easy to use, and I see this CAD stucturs everyday by customers. Now I use mostly Cinema4D and Octane or Vray to render and all is easyer.

So I think I had enough time to lern.
