Is a capitone an eel, or a rug, or a texture, or ? :-) ?

In south Italy they used to call Capitone this one (here in north east- Venice area we call it -Bisatto- in Italian is Anguilla)




As Burr highlited,what you searching is called Capitonnè,a specific kind of seam..it's French!!!(please Pilou say something about :) )
