:)

Bonjour,

pour tous ceux qui n'ont pas l'anglais comme langue maternelle et qui souhaitent parfois traduire quelque chose, je peux recommander ce traducteur.
Pas pour toutes les langues, mais des résultats impressionnants.

Passez un bon week-end

And back:

Hallo,

Für all diejenigen, die kein Englisch als Muttersprache haben und manchmal etwas übersetzen wollen, kann ich diesen Übersetzer empfehlen.
Nicht für alle Sprachen, aber beeindruckende Ergebnisse.

Hola,

Para todos aquellos que no tienen el inglés como lengua materna y que a veces quieren traducir algo, puedo recomendar este traductor.
No para todos los idiomas, pero los resultados son impresionantes.

Thanks Karsten!

It could be very helpful.

Usually I use http://context.reverso.net for helping me with manual translation from my language (Italian).

But I will try also https://www.deepl.com/translator.

Ciao!

Ciao, Marco.

Sembra molto promettente :)

English :

Finally! An automatic translation of an Italian text that is not full of errors!!

It looks very promising:)

P.S. I don't know German language so I don't really know if the previous translation did well :)

Ciaoooooo!

Almost perfect....

Honestly, even if an automatic translator can be very good, I don't trust completely.

I mean...
Let's consider for example the German phrase that I posted in my previous post.

Because I totally ignore German Language, I cannot trust that the text translated by www.deepl.com is perfectly what I wanted to say.

When we talk about different languages, also a very single word makes the difference,
and I don't want to be misunderstood or offend anyone with "strange" errors.

So, I certainly will try this very interesting www.deepl.com but I will continue to talk with all members of this forum only in English :)

I don't know if I made myself clear enough.

Ciao!

Thanks Karsten.

With my poor high school French:
As a curio, my example shows different triangle vs rectangle translations. (Writer was French.)

des triangles rectangles 3D

il est possible de construire
des triangles rectangles 3D sur les deux surfaces précitées.

3D Rectangular Triangles

it is possible to build
3D rectangular triangles on the two above-mentioned surfaces.
(Originally triangles in the above sentence was omitted, so there appears to be some "learning" going on...)

(Right angle triangles via Ring Dupin Cyclides is the subject)

Hello Brian,
could you please send a link to the document- I can't follow you at the moment. Is it a problem with the translator? Maybe you can solve it with a click to the word - then there will displayed alternatives. Maybe Pilou will have a look and switch on the light. The mathematical stuff you are talking about (Dupin???) is out off my mathematical range, but every time a pleasure to see your results.

Have a nice day

That can you make! ;)

I made that for a French Text A

French Text A --> English = English Text A

English Text A --> French = French Text B

Compare French Text A & French Text B

Of course take your own native language as Text A!

The 2 versions Native Text A & Native Text B are slightly different but very good!

You can also compare results with https://translate.google.fr

Hi Karsten,
There is no problem with the translator, I was just trying it out on a French pdf paper.

<< (Originally triangles in the above sentence was omitted, so there appears to be some "learning" going on...)

Sure it's "Deep Learning" technology ! ;)

From that I see from your example : translation must be!

French original: Des triangles rectangles 3D

Translation

Right triangles 3D (American English) or Right-angled triangles 3D (British English)

But I am not very good in English! But I know how to use the Internet! :)

PS Just a little thing : seems limited to 5000 letters & spaces!
