So just to clarify the PLM is stuff like organizing a potentially large number of files, having them in some kind of repository, easier sharing - basically stuff like that which involves many people working together on a project.
If it's just one single person working on a project much of that won't really be applicable is that true?

Yes! Teamcenter - CAM-ToolChain - Change Managment/Version Managment - Material handling, interfaces to Production systems and so on... are also aspects!

I had the opportunity to try out NX for a couple of days now and I gotta say. It's certainly a great software, impressed by several of the tools. It wasnt exactly what I expected, I thought from watching youtube videos that it would feel more intuitive. Well I guess Im used to Moi :)
