HelloShaun,
the first problem is the sketch tool. I asked Michael a while ago for that and I tried to program it in js for Moi already - without a really good result. I have also made some primitive gestures and projection methods like that in - I love Sketch- a project from the same source (also have a look for true2form) . It is a lot of stuff that these guys create and completly different to other workflows and concepts. In my opinion - difficult.

Have a nice day
Karsten

Hi Shaun, it does look really cool! However it's not good to get too overly excited with research results like this, it's not particularly unusual for it to work in some cases great and not so great in other cases. It's pretty hard to judge without testing it with a running example.

It's also unfortunately very complex to implement something like this all from scratch just with the paper as guidance, especially when it's built on several other complex layers as well.

So the chances of integrating it into MoI are pretty slim I'm afraid.

But I don't know that it would be a real big benefit to have it integrated in MoI since it's an automatic processing type thing. A standalone program that loaded a mesh and exported curves to 3DM or STEP format would work fine I'd think.
