Full Version: Project Elephant's UNOFFICIAL Repository

From: mkdm

Hi Max, James, Karsteen, AL, and all the other smart guys of Project Elephant!

Just in order to straighten up a little bit all the official versions, experiments, unofficial versions, new ideas and any kind of jamming
regarding the Project Elephant, I just wanted to create this little, but I hope, useful new thread.

I decided to name it "Project Elephant's UNOFFICIAL Repository" because I'm not Max, the creator of Project Elephant,
and I do not wish to interfere with his contribution ;)

But I think that this thread could be very useful for anyone that want to play with the node editor.

My idea is this : to use the same single thread, not for comments or replies, but ONLY for publishing a list
of the actual downloadable versions of Project Elephant, both official and unofficial versions.

My idea is furthermore to recap in every post of this thread, all the existing versions plus the new ones.

For example, if the latest post of this thread is :

"Version X downloadable at <url>
Version Y downloadable at <url>
Version Z downloadable at <url>"

the following posts will be :

"Version X downloadable at <url>
Version Y downloadable at <url>
Version Z downloadable at <url>
Version W downloadable at <url>"

In this way it would be sufficient to read the latest post to get the access to all versions.

Well...I hope I made myself clear :)

So, that's the first post!

Some changes:

-added vectors for testing
-bundleArray has option for nums, points and objects
-sweep can have two rails and more profiles
-remap works for point
- bugs in bool corrected
-idxSelect works now for nums, points and objects
- the rest of the changes I have forgotten...

More for testing vectors:-) Don't mix points and vectors, points only as basepoints for vectors - Some nodes are missing - someone should test the concept, please.

Have a nice day
Karsten

Can someone please add a basic "ReadMe-Install.txt" or such to the main nodeeditor archive? As it is, there isn't one, and the info is almost as scattered for that as the actual node editor content itself.

Thanks!

Hello James,

I read your message and why not?
Or should we first collect some proposals and ideas. My Logic nodes are also obsolete - Max has implemented the functionality already. Barrys node for hiding edges also. But we have to Keep in mind, that some of the posted node files has to be reworked.

So have a nice day
