Hi I would like to store the camera position/angles in 3d view. I use this for doning screenshots and use them for illustrations. Is there any solution for that?
Thanks for ani hints

Hi nos, well you can find the current view angles by going to Options > View > "3D view angles" button. If you write down the values that are shown there you can then restore them later on.
You also might want to apply the UI modification from here:
http://moi3d.com/forum/index.php?webtag=MOI&msg=6962.13 which also adds the camera and target point locations to that same dialog.
Someday I would like to add a "saved view" feature where you could save a view to some list and restore it later on but currently there is nothing set up for doing that.

hi Michael,
did you get anywhere with this concept would be very handy

Yes, that would be a useful feature indeed.
We have Switch Views from Max's Custom UI, but it doesn't save the views into the file. So the views are lost after each session.

Hi Neil,
Yes, it's a script that comes with Max's Custom UI.
