Free solutions
As you can export as OBJ format you can use the free Blender ! (Internal render or Cycles ;) http://www.blender.org/
Or as Format SKP the free Twilight 2 with free SKetchup! ;)

I jumped onto Thea Render because money was short at one time and they had an special offer running. Very happy with it, btw.

Pilou - Can MoI SKP output work directly with the Twilight 2 render program? Or must you first bring the SKP into Sketchup?

Twilight2 is not a stand alone (it's a plugin's Sketchup) so Yes you must input your SKP model inside Sketchup before! (works fine with the free version of Sketchup)

PS A little trick : if your Moi model is not a "single part" model, better export it in 3DS format from Moi to Sketchup (Menu File / Import...3DS)
then explode it so you will have each part as component!

Modo !

- The preview renderer is very fast, interactive, and can be used as 'final renderer' with really few quality settings to tweak
- Tons of features (cpu)
- Thanks to the photoview 360 heritage (solidwork version of modo render rengine), modo can render sexy wireframe from nurbs surfaces.

Hi Mauro,

They call it an 'add-in', my is guess is that it comes 'embedded' with solidworks.
