here you can see:
left:original
right:mine

original shows a distorted shape(slighty tapered to the top),i think it was drawn by hand but real one is squared
i found a complete brochure in PDF format with dimensions in inches(of course)
this helped me to draw a box in 1:1 scale and inside i model my jukebox by eye
i did top part( A-B-C- selection buttons panel) little bit bigger than original.
here original references

Rock-Ola Tempo 2 comes in two models:120 and 200 (songs)
i did the first one because there are less textures to do
i made 60 disc-labels and ABC1-20-21-40 rulers..so:lot of texturing work but it was funny because i choosed my ideal playlist,i mean..songs that i consider THE FUNDAMENTALS of Rock and Pop music
I watched that movie at least 5-6 times in late 70s and soundtrack(amazing) should be listened to everyone wants to improve his Rock-culture..in this case from the beginning:R&R

Reproducting real lighting i applied a SSS material(translucent isotropic scattering) to the row of number- buttons, and behind i did a neon light
this required a huge amount of render-time to clean from noise that area(i used Fryrender,an unbiased engine)
after approx.24 total hours (unbiased engines you can stop, save and resume later the framebuffer rendering)i decided to stop computation but it needs more clean-up

<< I'd love to have one in my living room!>>

These models i did are useful in renderings to enrich interior scenes with cool stuff like Brionvega radio or a Rock-Ola Juxebox

m-dynamics - Thanks for the explanations and before-after images. You really made a very convincing image.

I'm seeing more of this type of retro integration of renders onto old images on various forums.

Here's a video of a modern render into a Buick TV commercial I really like:

Many thanks Ed
that's a cool video integration and easy to do because it's simple lighting and environment
i think when render an animation usually quality settings are lower than a still image, this because of time-computation (25 frame or 30 per second )
i also see Keyshot reproduce well the leather saddle of the bike

i think 3D universe is endless, also ideas and fantasy..
i just finished this and i already planned 4 new things to do..and i'd like to do all at the same time..
so..i just need a pause (but i think will be very short....)
