Hi,
I find it easier on the eye to work with a darker background in MoI. This is easy enough to set up and I have made mine the same colour as used in Modo - the other application I am using. I also edit the default style changing the colour from black to white since this makes drawing out objects on a darker background easy and also matches the style used by Modo. However, I can't seem to get MoI to save this change to the default style. Each time I open the program it's set back to black. All my other UI changes are saved and loaded properly. What do I need to do to get MoI to save changes to the default style permanently?
Thanks :-)

If you open a Moi session without load an object
the default style must be loaded with the 7 colors by default!
If you open an object where you have modified the color style, you will have your previous style saved :)
That will be be not more simple! :)
So without coding the .ini file if you want a particular Default style list colors, just saved a simple cube at the origine with your color style parameters wanted
You will just kill it if you don't want it and you will keep your custom default color style!
Not a big deal :)Reply

Hi Mark!
You could do that by using a template file
http://moi3d.com/2.0/docs/moi_command_reference1.htm#opentemplate
so
1. Define your styles
2. Save the whole thing
3. Go to Options > General >Template files and choose your Startup Template.

4. Relaunch MOI

Thanks! Defining a template did the trick. :-)
