Full Version: FBX export settings

I don't have question, but i use moi3d mainly for optimization and fbx export in this tool works almost great.
I wonder to know if you are planning to improve the output quality of mesh while converting to fbx or obj formats.

There aren't any plans, I've already put in a lot of work in the past to improve the quality to the current level.

Do you have some examples where the current quality is not good?

Hi Michael!

I have attached some screenshots. there are wireframe screenshots as well to show the overlapping vertexes.
There is a way i can merge these vertexes in blender, but it breaks normals.
Probably having merge function in moi3d would help a lot.

Hi Toha, those vertices are generated so that the mesh is "watertight" and has a unified vertex structure along edges where the original NURBS surfaces are glued together.

It's a normal part of the current meshing method.
