Hi!
I am working mostly on JT files and wonder to know if it is possible to import JT files into Moi3D.
As i know it does not have this ability , but do you know any scripts can do it or will it be added in future updates?

Thanks, Toha

Based upon Google search:

The Siemens Jupiter Tessellation specification is available.
The format can contain both polygon and brep information, +...
There is a $199 Rhino importer.
There is a $60 Sketchup importer.
Can be opened in Fusion 360.
I have never seen a JT file.

How enormous would a NURBS file translation be?

ASPOSE link saved for the future!

Hi Toha,

Sorry, no I don't know of any way to directly import JT files into Moi3D. You would need to transfer to STEP format instead.

It's a very complex area of work so it's not likely that someone would be able to cook up an informal script to do it.

Currently I have received very few requests for this function so it is not really on my radar for future updates, sorry.

Thanks!
I tried Sketchup importer and it works , but eventually i need to have step file to import into moi3d.
Sketchup can't export step files. Other methods are expensive for me.
There are some online converters which i can not use because files are sensetive.

You are hero! I do not know how to appreciate.
Solid edge works great. So i can export as STEP file and import into moi3d.

Thank you very much Frenchy!

Just to mention that i spent whole day yesterday to find a way to convert JT to STEP file.
I understand that JT file is a specific one and only few softwares can work with that and it cost thousands of dollars.
I tried FreeCad, JT2GO, CAD Assistant, MeshLab, Sketchup and so on.
Most of free softwares allow you to view JT files but not exporting.
So Thanks Again for everyone!

yes it works fine. A little bit laggy but i guess it is due to graphic card.
