Hi Michael,
I have two solids. Nut without thread and thread created via Max's script (NutsAndBolt). The thread was slightly enlarged by Construct/Offset = 0,3 mm, then I've tried to use Boolean Diff to create thread on Nut, but after calculation are still two solids.
I cannot find out why :-)

i have made a new bolean test with _NutsAndBolts script.
it works !
perhaps yous should try to make a new bolt ?

Hi Mik, the main problem is the offset - MoI's solid offset tool does not work well in cases where pieces need to be extended and intersected with each other.
The geometry that the offset produced has some bad corners in it now where edges are quite a ways off from each other instead of meeting up with a good tolererance:
So I'd recommend not to do the offset on the threads object.
