No, as I stated before, I don't have a Mac...
You need to just follow the instructions for the Windows manual install in the other thread and replace the directory names with the according Mac directories as needed.

So... While I love the look of the new UI, I didn't like the way you changed around the working tabs. I'd like to return to my original configuration. You mention the roaming app data folder. well, I don't have one. I'm running Windows 10. Thoughts?
Thanks
Chris

Hi Chris,
re: return to original tabs - press Win + R to bring up the the Windows "Run" dialog and put in:
%AppData%\Moi
That's the MoI app data folder. Inside there go down into the startup folder and remove the file named DeathPane.js , that's the one that is modifying the side pane tabs.

Its in the instructions, also read the instructions at:
https://moi3d.com/forum/messages.php?webtag=MOI&msg=10465.1
The "Roaming folder" is your:
C:\Users\"YOUR user name"\AppData\Roaming\ as it is for all Win apps...
There you will find the "Moi Backup-YOURUSERNAME" Folder, it's your original setup.
Just delete the Moi folder there and rename the "Moi Backup-YOURUSERNAME" folder to "Moi" and you're back to your original...
Please read through all the stuff on the link above, any further questions, please post them there...

So I got frustrated and just deleted Moi4 and then reinstalled it.
BUT... I didn't have to reenter my serial number and the layout is still dorked. The main screen is the default color, the tools pane is ok, but the objects/type pane is still up, and all of the "extras" are still along the bottom.
Thoughts?
Chris

Hi Michael. This helped me find the data that was still controlling the UI, even after the fresh install. Everything is now working properly.
Thanks
Chris
